Key Stats

New Orleans is led in scoring, assists, and steals by CJ McCollum. He’s averaging 17.5 points per game, 5.0 assists per game, and 2.0 steals per game this playoffs. Valanciunas is giving 16.0 points per game and leading in rebounds with 13.5 per game. Lastly, Brandon Ingram has 15.0 points per game.

The Pelicans have yet to find a strategy to beat their opponents. They almost had them in game one but fell short by two points. In the second game, they couldn’t keep up at all. Now they desperately need to win before they fall to 0-3.

OKC is led in scoring by Gilgeous-Alexander, who is averaging 30.5 in the playoffs. Chet Holmgren is averaging 20.5 points per game and leading in rebounds, 9.0 per game, and blocks, 3.5 per game. Lastly, Jalen Williams is leading in both assists and steals. He’s averaging 5.5 assists per game and 1.5 steals per game.

The Thunder are looking like they could make a sprint to the Finals. They are handling New Orleans very well. They need SGA to continue to be a leader and stay steady.

Injury Report

New Orleans Pelicans

  • Zion Williamson – Out

Oklahoma City Thunder

  • Oliver Sarr -OFS

Game Prediction

The Thunder will not slow down any time soon. Their stars are healthy and putting points on the board. On the other hand, the Pelicans can’t seem to do much damage. Also, with Zion Williamson on the bench, it will be very difficult for them to win this series.

I believe OKC is going to go up 3-0 on the series with a win on Saturday and cover.

Final Pick

Oklahoma City Thunder -1 (-112)
