Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic(1-2) are playing the Cleveland Cavaliers(2-1) on Saturday Afternoon in game four of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

The home team dominated in the third game of the playoffs, winning 121-83. Paolo Banchero got a double-double, giving his team 31 points, five assists, and 14 rebounds. Jalen Suggs had 24 points and four rebounds. Lastly, Franz Wagner had 16 points and eight assists.

Conversely, Cleveland’s team struggled to put up stats. Jarrett Allen gave them 15 points and eight rebounds. Caris LeVert also got himself 15 points. Lastly, Donovan Mitchell had 13 points, seven assists, and five rebounds.

Can Orlando pull off another massive onslaught of scoring, or will the Cavs offense wake up?

Key Stats

Orlando Magic

Orlando is led in scoring by Paolo Banchero. In this playoff, he is averaging 25.3 points per game. He also leads in rebounds, 8.0 per game, and assists, 4.3 per game. Wagner is giving his team 17.3 points per game. Lastly, Jalen Suggs is performing well, with 15.3 points per game and 4.7 rebounds per game in the series.

The team struggled with productivity in games one and two. However, they hit a different level in game three. They played lockdown defense, and everyone was providing points. Paolo Banchero played exceptionally well and took control of the game right off the bat.

Cleveland is led in scoring by Mitchell, who is averaging 22.0 points per game this playoffs. Jarrett Allen is averaging 15.7 points per game. He is also leading the team in rebounds with 15.3 per game. Lastly, Evan Mobley has 14.3 points per game and is their leader in blocks with 2.3 per game.

The Cavaliers played very well at the start of the series. However, the whole starting five was flat-footed in their last game against Orlando. It was a mess from start to finish. Mitchell needs to step up and score if they want to win.

Game Prediction

Orlando’s last win was a surprising one. Judging by their first two performances, Cleveland should have gone up 3-0 in the series. However, it seems the Magic have figured out the other team’s defense and offense at the moment. If they play the same way tomorrow, they should be able to tie the series 2-2

I believe Orlando is going to get the home win on Saturday afternoon while covering.

Final Pick

Orlando Magic -2 (-110)
