We return for another NCAA basketball selection, last week’s double winner of Pacific and the over brought our record to 4-0 ATS this season. Today’s play will be the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles (2-4, 0-0) +3.5 over the Indiana State Sycamores (3-2, 0-0). Indiana State is coming off last Friday night’s 97-64 thrashing of Chicago State, a season-high in points for the Sycamores. Southern Indiana was also victorious on Friday, beating South Dakota 92-83.
We like to find the more off-the-beat college basketball plays, especially early on in the season. Vegas books spend less time handicapping these games because they are not marquee matchups. Today’s slate is filled with big games such as Memphis-Uconn and Auburn-Iowa State to name a few. However, the money is all the same when you win, you do not get extra wagering on high-profile games.

As chalk, Indiana State is 1-1 ATS this season, covering versus Chicago State and losing outright to SIUE. Against the spread, the Sycamores are just 2-3 in their last five as a favorite and 4-6 in their last 10 away games. Southern Indiana 2-1 ATS in their last three games and 2-1 ATS in their last three as an underdog.
