The Super Bowl of pro wrestling is around the corner and it is poised to be one of the biggest events in WWE history. WrestleMania XL will have two nights of jam-packed action and multiple showstoppers. If you’re like me, who not only loves to watch pro wrestling but to predict its outcomes, well, this is great. That’s because you can make MONEY betting on those outcomes. These are our WrestleMania XL best bets and previews!

There are lots of matches to be excited for. Will Cody Rhodes finish his story vs. Roman Reigns? So, which markets give us the best betting odds to bet on WrestleMania XL?

WrestleMania XL Card

WrestleMania 40 is stacked

As stated above, it’s a two-night event where plenty will try to make history in the Showcase of Immortals. The Grandest Stage of Them All will have title fights, multi-men bouts, gimmick matches, and the in-ring return of one of the biggest stars this industry has ever seen: Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. It’s a loaded card from top to bottom. Some fights don’t have markets available.

Best Bets

Seth Rollins will defend his title vs. Drew McIntyre

When you talk about combat sports betting, you have to account for the famous ‘puncher’s chance’. However, WWE is different, since the outcomes are not coincidental. This means the books juice the prices to the moon to salvage themselves from getting blasted by the bettors. Nevertheless, WWE will throw a curve ball every once in a while, just like in the Royal Rumble, where two-plus money bets are cashed!

So, these are some fights you should keep an eye on:

PARLAY (-132): McIntyre (-800) + Rhodes (-400) + Gunther (-400)

Since outcomes are predetermined, we have to make the unbettable numbers, bettable. McIntyre is DESTINED to beat Seth Rollins at WrestleMania XL. Also, Rollins will wear the damage (in kayfabe) from his Night 1 battle vs. The Rock & Reigns, while McIntyre will be fresh as a cucumber.

As for Rhodes, shenanigans will ensue. However, if WWE doesn’t pull the trigger now, chances are people will actually riot. Reigns’ era has been nothing short of fantastic, but Rhodes is WWE’s biggest babyface since Daniel Bryan in WrestleMania XXX. Plus, this HAS to be the setup for The Rock and Reigns to battle either at SummerSlam or next year’s WrestleMania.

As for Gunther, his reign has been long and dominant, but there are two things that make me positive that he is retaining. First, Sami Zayn’s booking has been dreadful in the last few weeks. Second, the only reason for Gunther to lose his title is to go and win a big one. But, since we have Rhodes dethroning Reigns, and McIntyre beating Rollins, it makes no sense to throw Gunther into the main event. Should that happen, he will either lose due to the new champs being just crowned or will dethrone them after they ended long title reigns. That would devalue the belts to an almost unrepairable level.

Underdogs to Look At

Remember, these are underdogs for a reason! But, if you believe WWE will like to surprise us and not play by the book (something they usually don’t do), these would be my two favorite underdogs to sprinkle some money on as part of the WrestleMania XL best bets:

AJ Styles +500 vs LA Knight

Rumor has it that AJ Styles will debut a new theme song. If this is true, and WWE wants to make a statement with Syles’ rebranding, well this is the way. Also, WWE is really mean to LA Knight, always getting him so close to those big wins only to get screwed. Sprinkle something, scared money don’t make money.

Either Owens (+900) or Orton (+350) to win US Championship

Logan Paul is a huge favorite to win and in a triple-threat match, the rules favor him. Yes, he can lose the belt without getting pinned, but also, there’s no disqualification, so he can use those brass knuckles to his advantage. Now, Logan is a committed wrestler, a natural. However, he is also an influencer with a huge brand. You just wonder if WWE likes the idea of him missing shows with the belt on his waist. Orton and Owens are veterans and former champions who work full-time for WWE and a win for either would be a feel-good WrestleMania XL moment.
