Wolves face off against a Chelsea team that is not impressed so far this year. Both teams are 10th and 11th in the league table, with only 2 points separating them. However, the Wolves are currently in better form overall. Even if Chelsea are going to play well, this will be a good matchup to watch!
Luckily, their last match against each other was not so long ago. On December 21, the home team saw a close 2-1 victory against the London squad. However, Chelsea largely dominated possession and were somewhat unlucky not to escape with a point.
Regardless, it will be up to the London team to produce a good display today and keep a hold of their current position in the league table.

This Wolves team is coming off of a 4-3 thrill! Unfortunately, they fell short against Manchester United; however, they showed they could play with the top clubs in the Premier League. Ultimately, they will need a similar show of great display. But they are up for the challenge and will be eager to take advantage of a Chelsea side in disarray.
Matheus Cunha remains their primary playmaker. He is creative and can break down opposing defenses while creating opportunities to score. If Wolves are going to play well today, it will need to be initiated by him. Also, if the game goes as it did last time, Jose Sa will need to have a big day in goal for the away side.
Chelsea
Goals Scored: 36
Goals Conceded: 35
Shots On Goal: 108
Saves: 83
Clean Sheets: 5
Conversely, Chelsea is coming off of an embarrassing defeat to Liverpool. Despite both sides having quality players, much was left to be desired in their 4-1 loss. Also, their last two league home games should be encouraging for Wolves supporters. They eeked out a 1-0 win against Fulham and drew 0-0 to Aston Villa. Regardless of how you view things, they are not playing well at the moment.
However, Raheem Sterling remains a dangerous man off of the dribble and is their best chance to get something going offensively. Besides that, it’s hard to see where goals will come from for Chelsea, as Nicolas Jackson has not lived up to expectations this season.
Game Prediction
These two teams are nearly identical in points, but I feel completely different about where they are as a club. Although Chelsea is at home and has a chance to play better, I don’t see that happening. This Wolves team knows their identity and is playing with greater team effort and spirit.
As a good option, I like draw no bet at Wolves +350. However, Wolves at +1.5 is a guaranteed safer guarantee. Especially because of Chelseas struggling up top, I would like to parlay that with the under.
