Utah Jazz vs Sacramento Kings Injury Report| March 31 2024

Sacramento Kings

The Utah Jazz (29–45) travel to the Sacramento Kings (42–31). This is a game that favors the home team. The visitors will be without key and important players. Furthermore, seeing as the Kings already won the first two matchups, it’s hard to see today’s matchup finishing with a different result.

But could you see the remaining roster of the Jazz being able to put up a fight against the Kings on the road?

Players Injury Status
Lauri Markkanen Shoulder Out
John Collins Back GTD
Jordan Clarkson Back  Out

Long story short, the Utah Jazz will be without two of their most important players. Markkanen and Clarkson are expected back within the month of April. But either way, this team is going to struggle, especially against a team of the same caliber as the Sacramento Kings. A fully healthy team could contend potentially to at least comfortably make the playoffs. But with a depleted roster, the losing streak will likely extend to nine.

Trey Lyles Knee GTD
Kevin Huerter Shoulder OFS

The Sacramento Kings have their main players available, healthy, and ready to go. They should be able to easily play well and take care of business against the Utah Jazz. Furthermore, the Kings know they need to play better overall if they truly want to be the contenders that some say they are in the Western Conference. Therefore, with all things considered on the side of the Utah Jazz and how the season is shaping up for the Kings, you can expect the main players who are available to not only give it their all but stay in unless it is a complete blowout.

Depth Needing Boost For Sacramento Kings

Sacramento Kings

Losing Huerter isn’t life-altering for the Sacramento Kings and certainly shouldn’t affect this game against the Utah Jazz. But this is a question of how deep this roster truly is. The top end of the rotation is talented and can cause havoc against anyone in the league. But games like this are a chance for the others to prove that they can step up and fill an important role.

Especially against a crowded and highly contested West, it’s important in a game like this one for some of the bench players, especially to showcase their skills. Yes, the rotation gets tighter come the playoffs, but it would be comforting for the staff if there was someone else that they knew they could depend on in the event of an injury. Even if this game becomes a blowout, this remains a crucial game for the Sacramento Kings.
