The Utah Jazz (26-29) host the Golden State Warriors (26-26) on a Thursday night matchup. Both sides are coming off losses, however, the narrative favors the away side. While they lost, it was to a good Los Angeles Clippers team. It is also worth mentioning that they were in control for a lot of that game and it took a fourth-quarter comeback to ultimately leave the court in defeat. Meanwhile, the home team played a Lebronless Los Angeles Lakers team. The game was so out of reach by the fourth that the King felt comfortable enough to tweet about it during the game. They have lost three out of their last five, but have impressive recent wins over the Milwaukee Bucks and Oklahoma City Thunder.
So do you see the Warriors dropping another game tonight, even though they are favored?

Utah hopes to get a home win against the Warriors. Lauri Markkanen averages 23.4 points per game. He should see favorable matchups today as well. But he’s someone to be on the lookout for a massive night. Additionally, Collin Sexton continues to contribute scoring from the guard position. Additionally, his skillset can be utilized to take advantage of some switches that they will like against the Golden State Warriors. However, for the Utah Jazz to win, they will need at least one more solid scorer. Therefore, Jordan Clarkson should be the one to look for to go for a team-high amount of point production tonight.

Golden State unbelievably lost last night. Despite controlling the game for three and a half quarters, the Los Angeles Clippers pulled away at the end. However, they still have one of the greatest shooters ever, Steph Curry. But they also have another great point scorer from range who hasn’t been able to get it going for himself. Klay Thompson, “Spalsh Bro” and defensive stopper on the perimeter faces the prospect of playing at a high level while aging and being on the decline. It remains to be seen how the Warriors look to solve this ongoing issue. But there is another emerging star. Brandin Podziemski continues to develop as a secondary option. Although, it remains to be seen if he’ll produce at a high-level tonight against the Utah Jazz.
The Warriors are in a good spell of play, despite struggling through various parts of the earlier part of their season. Essentially, this team goes as Curry goes. Of course, getting increased help from role players or off the bench would be nice. But Curry may need to score 30 or more points a night on most nights for the rest of the season.
Game Prediction
I see this playing out as the game for Golden State ended last night. Even though they have future Hall of Fame players on their roster, I see the Utah Jazz being too much. Additionally, after coming off an intense and emotional game, the likelihood is that this back-to-back proves to be too much. Therefore, I am going with the Utah Jazz to win outright. However, I also see the game total being an issue. Even with the great scorers the under is the safe play. Unless Curry or Sexton have career nights, getting to 240 points is going to be tough.
Final Pick
Utah Jazz MoneyLine and Under 239.5
