The Golden State Warriors (31-27) travel to the Toronto Raptors (22-37) for a Friday night game in Canada. Although many select the away side to go on a championship run potentially, it’s not out of the question that they will miss the first round of the playoffs entirely. However, they are expected to be able to do well in the Play-In Tournament setting. But this is an aging roster that looks to have one more run in them.
Meanwhile, the home side has largely struggled throughout this year. But they have had something of a Resurgence since the All-Star break. Therefore, this is a big game for both sides. Especially as today’s home team last won the meeting by 15 points in the Bay Area. However, the visiting side will look for Revenge today.
Can the Raptors pull off the impressive win, or will the Warriors tally another road win?

Key Stats
Toronto Raptors
Toronto is a team that strangely appears to be getting better. Additionally, they beat the Warriors earlier in the season. Furthermore, it was not too long ago, as it was in January, and it was by a substantial 15-point margin. Moreover, they are winners of three of their last five games, including a road win against a good Indiana Pacers team and losing to them shortly before that at home by only two points. But they come off a double-digit loss to the Mavericks and are looking to bounce back. Immanuel Quickley led the team with 28 points in that game, and he’ll need help today against the Golden State Warriors. Jakob Poeltl could provide a boost and should be a force on the interior. He’s likely to get around 15 points, six rebounds, and six assists today.
Golden State Warriors
Golden State knows that they can’t afford to drop too many games. Although missing out on the Play-In tournament is virtually impossible, they still want to improve their seating. However, they would be favored to win single-elimination games if they still want to ease the possibility of not even making the first round. But they will face a stiff test against the Toronto Raptors. Although the Golden State Warriors have a top-talented roster with future Hall of Famers, the rest of the season will be something of a struggle. Firstly, Steph Curry continues to play at a high level, but his usage rate and minutes are high for his age. Also, Klay Thompson has been a hit-or-miss scoring product Off the Bench. And lastly, while Draymond Green and his antiques have led to success in the past, they can also hurt and serve as a double-edged sword.
Match Prediction
This game will be closer than what some may expect. Although the Golden State Warriors have the talent and experience to get a convincing win on a nightly basis, the Toronto Raptors are slowly becoming a good team. Therefore, I am betting against the spread and taking the home side to cover. Although a win would not be surprising or shocking, I believe a close game and keeping it within possession is the most likely outcome.
Furthermore, the point total is to stay away from play for me as the Golden State Warriors have a chance to limit the Toronto Raptors offense; however, they are just as likely to give up an equal amount or near amount of points on the other end.
Final Pick
Toronto Raptors +3
