Toronto Blue Jays Regular Season Win Total 2025 | MLB Season Long Bet

The Toronto Blue Jays head into the 2025 season with so many storylines. This could result in the Jays being one of the most interesting teams in the league. Toronto is in one of if not the hardest division year in and year out in Major League Baseball. The American League East is the definition of a gauntlet in sports. It’s no secret that the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox are willing to spend the big bucks to become contenders. Now with the emerging young Baltimore Orioles team and a Tampa Bay Rays team that always defies the odds, it is the toughest division to consistently win.

Toronto Blue Jays Win Total UNDER 78.5 (-110)

Outlook Based Off Last Season

The Toronto Blue Jays finished dead last in the AL East in 2024 with a record of 74-88. The Jays played .500 baseball for most of the season until dropping off in September with a 7-17 record for the month. Bo Bichette missing half the season did not help the teams cause. Not only does Bichette provide the bat and the defense but he also brings energy to this team on a daily basis.

There was only so much Vlad Guerrero Jr. could do putting up MVP type numbers with .323 Average, 30 Home Runs, and 103 Runs Batted In. The team ranked bottom 3rd in pitching and defense, barely cracking the top 20 in batting average. With the combination of those stats it easy to say you won’t have much success as a team.

Offseason Moves

Toronto made 2 big moves in the offseason bringing in former multiple-time Cy Young Award Winner Max Scherzer on a one-year deal and power hitter Anthony Santander. They also added bullpen arms in Yimi Garcia, Josh Walker, and Jeff Hoffman. The biggest moves for the team may have been the ones they didn’t make. They failed to lock up two of their biggest stars in long-term contracts.

Bichette has become frustrated with the team and could be a possible trade piece at the deadline or before. Guerrero is the other player the team failed to reach an agreement on. He will test the free agent market next offseason, looking for a massive deal.

Final Thoughts

The Toronto Blue Jays may have the most interesting situation in the league. I am taking the under for the fact that if this team does not start off hot they could be sellers at the deadline. Bo Bichette notingly wants out of Toronto. Vlad Guerrero will become a free agent after the year. And Max Scherzer signed a one-year deal, and has been a hot commodity the past few seasons come trade deadline time.

This team could easily start their rebuild very quickly with 3 All-Stars on the move. On top of that they are in the toughest division in baseball. This team has a ton of talent but will they be on the team for the entire year? That’s the reason you need to bet the Under on the Blue Jays because who knows who will be on this team come August and September.

The Pick Is In: Toronto Blue Jays UNDER 78.5 Wins (-110)
