The opening game of the Monday Night Football doubleheader features the 0-3 Tennessee Titans traveling to South Florida to take in the 1-2 Miami Dolphins. The Titans are desperate to avoid the dreaded 0-4 start under new head coach Brian Callahan.
Only one team, the 1992 Chargers has ever made the playoffs after an 0-4 start. Miami is looking at this game as one that can get them back to the .500 mark and buy time until Tua Tagovailoa gets back to full health. The odds discussed are the consensus posted at Vegas Insider.

Key Stats
Tennessee Titans
Tennessee comes in at 0-3 SU and 0-3 ATS this season and being outscored 26-16 per game. The public bettors are all over Titans in week three as they are getting 63% of the spread bets and 75% of the money bets.
Tennessee is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 away games. Tennessee ranks 28th in points per game and new quarterback Will Levis has been struggling to grasp Callahans’ new offense. The strong suit of the Tennessee Titans is their defense which ranked five overall and third against the pass.
Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins came in the 2024 season hoping to challenge the Buffalo Bills for the AFC East title, but injury has dampened expectations. Miami enters week four 1-2 SU and 0-3 ATS and scored only three points last week in Seattle. Miami’s offense is ranked dead last in the league at 11 points per game. The Dolphins are 5-5 ATS in their last 10 home games and only 3-7 ATS in their last 10 game overall.
Miami will look to their 11th-ranked defense to turn over a Titans offense that comes in dead last in the NFL with a -7 turnover differential. The other area where Miami will lean on is their run game, in the form of De’Von Achane and possibly a returning Raheem Mostert. Tennessee defensively is middle of the pack versus the run. Even if the Titans are tough against the pass with new starter Tyler Huntley under center, Tyreek Hill will have to be schemed up better than last week.
Prediction
This is a very difficult game to handicap in Week 4. It is the early game of the Monday Night doubleheader and the obvious less appealing compared to Seahawks vs. Lions. A general rule of thumb for us is to stay away from the betting favorite and even more so in primetime games. Miami is 3-2 SU in their last five and 7-3 SU in the last ten at home. We will fade the public on and back the Miami Dolphins at home on Monday Night Football game number one.
