Key Stats
Tennessee Volunteers
Tennessee is led in scoring by SEC Player of the Year Dalton Knecht at 21.1 ppg. The Northern Colorado transfer has carried this Tennessee offense on his back for the majority of the season. SEC Defensive Player of the Year Zakai Zeigler is a menace on the defense. He is as pesky as he is quick. C Jonas Aidoo patrols the paint and is a tremendous rim protector. Both Zeigler and Aidoo also averaged 11.9 ppg throughout the season.
Saint Peter’s Peacocks
The Peacocks are led by Sophomore F Corey Washington at 16.5 ppg and Senior PG Latrell Reid at 11.1 ppg and 4.6 apg. The Peacocks had two players average over a block a game. Mouhamed Sou led the team with 1.1 bpg, while Stephon Roberts added 1.0 bpg. Those aren’t huge numbers, but they will need their length to provide protection at the rim against the likes of Dalton Knecht and Jonas Aidoo.

Game Prediction
As most people who follow the NCAA Tournament will remember, Saint Peter’s went on a Cinderella run two seasons ago and advanced all the way to the Elite Eight. Lightning won’t strike twice. Tennessee should dominate this game from start to finish with the elite defense and their more-than-capable offense. Outside of Dalton Knecht, Jonas Aidoo will likely be a key focal point for the Tennessee Volunteers on offense. Tennessee Volunteers 88 – Saint Peter’s Peacocks 57
