St. Louis Blues vs Winnipeg Jets Game 1 I Best Bets for April 19, 2025

With the Winnipeg Jets coming off a stellar year by winning the Presidents’ Trophy as the best team in the National Hockey League, they want to prove to their fans that they’re the best by making a big statement win over the St. Louis Blues. Meanwhile, the Blues, who were recently on a 12-game heater, are looking to go back to their winning ways. The match-up will be tough, but we’ll find out who really means business.

**Odds Subject to Change**

William Hill currently has St.Louis as the favorite on the over/under and Winnipeg on the moneyline.

Parlay #1: Winnipeg Jets Over 2.5 Goals (-180)

The Winnipeg Jets have been an exiciting offense as they averaged 3.35 goals per game and were able to shoot 28.9 percent on the power play during the regular season. They scored at least three goals in three of the four games against the St. Louis Blues in the regular season so they should score well here as well.

Parlay #2: Winnipeg Jets ML (-200)

Now, I’m not picking the odds of Winnipeg to win the moneyline just because the Jets are favored to win the game, yet I’m picking them because they have a stud goaltender in Connor Hellebuyck, and they won the Presidents’ Trophy.

Parlay #3: Winnipeg Jets -1.5 (+130)

Throughout the regular season that the St. Louis Blues had, they’ve won by at least 2 goals a total of 19 times. Meanwhile, the Winnipeg Jets won by at least 1 or fewer by a total of 16 times within those 82 games. Although the Jets have a less number than the Blues, I would obviously go with the Jets winning.

Final Pick

At the end of the day, someone has to be a winner and someone has to be a loser. I would go with the Jets winning Game 1 because goaltender Connor Hellebuyck won the William H. Jennings Trophy all on his own, proving he’s a monster.
