The Sacramento Kings (30-22) play the Phoenix Suns (31-22) in a tightly contested Western matchup. Luckily injury concerns look to play a non-factor today. Also, with a half-game between the two sides, expect both to go for the win. Although the NBA is trying to squash this, now and then teams will lay an egg. Most recently resting has received increased scrutiny. But that too looks avoided tonight as this should play out to be a great basketball game on a random Tuesday night!
The Suns are hosts and welcome the Kings. The home side is more veteran. However, the away team is a slight underdog tonight. But who do you see pulling out the win and do you think it will be close?

Trey Liles is listed as questionable with an illness, although the rest are good to go. Domantas Sabonis threatens triple-double production every night. Since he plays today, this is 100% on the board. Also, he’ll receive help from De’Aaron Fox who can score at will at any time. Malik Monk is another player to keep an eye out for. Additionally, the Kentucky product enters the game off a 26-point game against a good Oklahoma City Thunder team.
But the Sacramento Kings only need to slow Phoenix down tonight. They can score, even if their best players are better known for their production in the paint. Especially if they have an on-night from range, the Suns could be on the ropes!

Phoenix Suns hosting the Sacramento Kings is an intriguing matchup. But offensively as individuals, they’re fine. However, collectively there are often question marks on both ends of the court. Also, without Christ Paul, the team looks like a shadow of their former selves too often. Surprisingly, the issues on defense aren’t as concerning as keeping up with opponents during games. There have been multiple questionable occurrences throughout the season while attempting to put the ball through the hoop.
However, they still have Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. Therefore this team can still score at a high level. But you’d like to see it more consistently from a team with this many playmakers. Also, buy-in doesn’t appear to be the issue. But for whatever reason, this team doesn’t always click or play in rhythm together.
Game Prediction
Even though the Sacramento Kings lost three out of their last four games, I like them tonight. Also, they’re on the road, they’re playing Phoenix who looked unimpressive against a limited Golden State Warriors team. Additionally, the matchups bode well for Sabonis and Fox to outfox their opponents tonight (Pun intended!) Considering how Phoenix often looks, and how downhill the Kings play, both a Kings win and the over, look too good to pass up tonight.
Final Pick
Sacramento Kings MoneyLine at +160 and Over 245
