The Portland Trail Blazers (19-55) take on the Orlando Magic (43-31). This is a game that has two different stories in terms of injuries. Orlando is mostly healthy. Meanwhile, Portland is mostly injured. Additionally, these are largely two uneven teams.
But considering who’s on the injury report, could you see a possible path for the Trailblazers to snag a road win against the magic?
Portland Trail Blazers vs Orlando Magic Injury Report
Portland Trail Blazers
Players | Injury | Status |
Anfernee Simons | Knee | Out |
Malcolm Brogdon | Elbow | Out |
Matisse Thybulle | Ankle | Out |
Toumani Camara | Ribs | OFS |
Jerami Grant | Hamstring | GTS |
Justin Minaya | Back | GTS |
Shaedon Sharpe | Abdomen | Out |
Robert Williams III | Knee | OFS |
Portland is a bad team, no matter who is on the injury report or not. Regardless, either way, when you consider some of the players on this list, it’s hard to ignore, and you need to monitor these names until updates come. But for tonight, the Portland Trail Blazers are largely outmatched against the Orlando Magic.
Updates:
Orlando Magic
Player | Injury | Status |
Caleb Houstan | Ankle | GTD |
The Orlando Magic are mostly healthy, as stated earlier. Additionally, they are taking on a terrible Portland Trail Blazers site. Therefore, it’s hard not to see Paolo Banchero, Wendell Carter Jr., and Franz Wagner not having at least a decent game tonight.

Missing Piece While Facing the Orlando Magic
Jerami Grant is often on the injury report, and he’s never officially ruled out until shortly before the game. However, it doesn’t look like he will play against the Orlando Magic. The exact extent of his hamstring injury is not known. But it appears that it’s a little more serious than what the team is letting on. Jerami Grant is someone who can carry an entire team, even against good competition, for at least one night.
Therefore, this is someone to monitor to make sure and see if he is going to be able to play. However, if, as expected, he isn’t able to, then it’s wise to be cautious while considering a wager on this game. Without him, the Orlando Magic will likely be able to cruise to an easy victory.
