Parlay Power Picks, NCAA Football Week 2

NCAA Football Parlay

We are back for this week’s NCAA football parlay, to recap, we went 1-2 Against The Spread with our parlay picks last week and missed cashing on our three-team parlay. We will have full disclosure each week to track progress. Remember that the probability of cashing a three-team parlay is 6/1, so a realistic goal is for us to hit on two or three for the season.

In addition, you can play these picks straight up or as a money-line parlay. Our NCAA Football Parlays will target sharp plays, line holds, or games where Vegas books have a heavy liability on one team. In other words, the betting outcome that Vegas books need to profit on the day.

The betting lines are those posted at Vegas Insider and are subject to change. To be a profitable sports bettor, the odds are in your favor to stay away from public plays, usually the betting favorite.

Parlay Leg #1: Alabama vs. South Florida First Half over 34.5

The first half over is a textbook play discussed in part two of my wagering series article. Alabama comes in with the high implied team total of 48.5 and a huge spread. This play was profitable last week in Alabama’s game vs. Western Kentucky. In week one, the Crimson Tide totaled 600 total yards, nine touchdowns, 25 first downs, and 42 first-half points. Alabama/UCF first half over is play number one of our parlay.

Parlay Leg #2: Arkansas Razorbacks +7.5

Play number two of our parlay is the Arkansas Razorbacks +7.5 versus the Oklahoma State Cowboys. The money is nearly split with Arkansas getting 51% of the spread bets, but there is sharp money on the Razorbacks as the opening line has dropped from 8.5 to 7.5. In that 51 %, there was respected money that moved that line down a full point. Arkansas comes off last week’s blowout win over Pine Bluff trying to make a statement versus the 16th-ranked Cowboys.

Parlay Leg #3: Baylor Bears +14.5

The Baylor Bears +14.5 will be the final leg of the week two grouping. We find another sharp play as Utah opened up as the 17.5-point chalk. Utah is currently getting 60% of the spread bets and yet the line has dropped three points. Another angle we will play on the Bears will be looking to avenge last year’s 20-13 loss at home to the Utes. Take the Bears getting two scores in a game with the total in the 50s.
