Indiana Pacers vs. Milwaukee Bucks Preview, Prediction, and Odds| April 25, 2024

Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers(1-1) are playing the Milwaukee Bucks(1-1) on Friday night in game three of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

The away team grabbed the win in game two by 17 points. Pascal Siakam hit big with 37 points and 11 rebounds. Myles Turner gave his team 22 points and six assists. Lastly, Andrew Nembard gave Indiana 20 points.

Conversely, despite a tough loss, Damian Lillard played great, scoring 34 points, five assists, and four rebounds. Brook Lopez gave Milwaukee 22 points. Lastly, Khris Middleton managed to knock down 15 points and six assists.

Can Indiana keep its momentum as they head to their home court, or will Milwaukee take game three on the road?

Key Stats

Indiana Pacers

Indiana is led in points and rebounds by Pascal Siakam, who is averaging 36.5 points per game and 12.0 rebounds per game this playoffs. Also, Myles Turner is averaging 19.5 points per game. The center is also leading the team in steals, 1,0 per game, and blocks, 1.5 per game. Lastly, Tyrese Haliburton is leading in assists with 10 per game.

Tyrese Haliburton is struggling heavily to be active in scoring. He can’t seem to get going from the field or from three. If he doesn’t pick up the pace, his team will suffer. Thankfully, Pascal Siakam has carried the team through.

The Milwaukee Bucks are led in scoring by Damian Lillard with 34.5 points per game this playoffs. Khris Middleton follows behind him with 19.0 points per game. However, he is listed as a game-time decision right now. Lastly, Patrick Beverley is leading his team in assists, 5.5 per game, and steals, 1.5 per game.

The Bucks are missing their best player, Giannis Antetokounmpo. In the first game, they were able to win thanks to a giant effort from Lillard and a lack of scoring from a majority of the Pacers players. However, Lillard couldn’t carry in game two. They need their bench to step up, or game three will be a repeat.

Injury Report

Indiana Pacers

  • Bennedict Mathurin – OFS

Milwaukee Bucks

  • Chris Livingston – GTD
  • Khris Middleton – GTD
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo – OFS

Game Prediction

Indiana managed to pull off a big upset last game with their All-Star, Haliburton, who was not playing well. Milwaukee will probably get another solid game from Lillard. However, if Haliburton wakes up and plays how he should, Indiana has a great chance of going up 2-1 on the series.

I believe the Indiana Pacers will grab the win over Milwaukee on Friday night.

Final Pick

Indiana Pacers -6 (-110)
