Even with their offensive woes, New York still had a chance to win but missed a 50-yard field goal with 51 seconds left. They must be sharper on offense to get where they want to go in the AFC.
Defensively, this team has been great. They are top five in points allowed per game (5th) with 15.5, opponent passing yards per game (2nd) with 128, tied for first in offensive touchdowns allowed with 5, and fourth in sacks with 14 on the year. Outside of week one, they haven’t allowed more than 17 points. This defense is the reason the Jets are in, and winning these games.
Minnesota Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings are looking to continue their winning ways after beating the Green Bay Packers last week. This offense has been electric all year long. Minnesota ranks 4th in points per game with 29, 10th in passing yards per game with 217, 3rd in offensive touchdowns, and 7th in yards per play. Head Coach Kevin O’Connell has Sam Darnold playing out of his mind. Darnold is first in passing touchdowns and has the weapons to be very efficient. With receivers like Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, this team can make some noise in the NFC.
Defensively, they have been almost as dominant as their offense. This unit has been excellent giving up only 14.8 ppg which is 4th in the NFL. Against the run, Minnesota is 2nd giving up 75 rushing yards per game. They lead the NFL in sacks with 17, 2nd in takeaways per game with 2.5, 6th in offensive touchdowns allowed, but they are dead last in the NFL giving up 274.3 passing yards per game. If there is a weakness in this defense, it might be their secondary.

I am predicting that the Minnesota Vikings will defeat the New York Jets and cover the spread in London on Sunday. This is a bad matchup for the Jets. With Aaron Rodgers being at this stage of his career, he is not as mobile as he used to be. The Vikings’ defense will get after Rodgers and make it difficult for their plays to develop if the New York Jets can’t get the running game going. As for the Vikings, this team is hot Sam Darnold is playing lights out right now, Minnesota is the better team in the better spot in this game and I expect them to show that.
