New York Giants vs. Cincinnati Bengals Preview, Prediction, and Odds| Week 6

Primetime football returns to the Big Apple for the second week in a row as the 1-4 Cincinnati Bengals take on the 2-3 New York Giants. New York looks to make it back to upsets and get back to the .500 mark to stay within reach of the NFC East-leading Commanders. The Giants pulled off somewhat of a shocker last with winning in Seattle and have won two of three after the 0-2 start.

Cincinnati is reeling losing four of five to start the year and sit at the bottom of the AFC North. The Bengals offense has no doubt found its stride on offense averaging nearly 38 points per game the last weeks. However, their defense in another story ranked in the bottom half of the league.

New York Giants

New York enters Week 6 averaging 17.8 points per game and giving up 20.8 per game. The Giants are a profitable 3-2 ATS this season including the last three straight for +2.73 units. Beyond that New York is 7-3 ATS their last 10 overall and 6-3-1 ATS last 10 at home.

The Giant’s offense is decent and capable having scored 20 or more points in their last three games. Daniel Jones is the obvious key offensively and is coming off one of his best games. Last week in Seattle, Jones was 23-34 for 257 yards, two touchdowns, and another 38 yards rushing.

Cincinnati Bengals

Cincinnati is humming offensively, they are fourth in passing yards and ninth in total offense per game. They will be a stern test for the New York defense that comes in playing well ranked tenth in total yards per game.

The Bengals are 1-4 SU and 2-3 ATS this season for -1.18 units. Cinncinati is 1-2 ATS last three and 2-3 ATS last five as favorites. Overall the Bengals are 4-5-1 ATS in their last 10 overall and at home for -1.36 units.

Prediction

New York is in a good spot from a betting probability to pull off another upset. Giants are playing better of late and fading the public in primetime games is always a good betting strategy. They will be without Malik Nabers for the second straight week, but the offense was surgical against the Seahawks. The good news is the Bengals’ defense is just as exploitable, even without the rookie sensation.

The sharps are on the Giants Sunday night, with the Bengals seeing 92% of the spread and 73% of the money bets, and yet the opening line of 4.5 has moved down 3.5. We will follow the reverse line movement and the respected money backing the home underdog New York Giants.

Final Pick: New York Giants +3.5
