NCAAB Weekly Parlay Picks: March 5, 2025

parlay

We return for this week’s NCAA college basketball parlay, we sit at 8-2 ATS on the season after our last week’s parlay picks were 2-1 ATS. Notre Dame failed to cover against SMU and prevented us from cashing in. If you followed us during the NFL season, you know our selections target games seeing respected money or those where Vegas books have a heavy liability. In other words, the betting outcome that Vegas books need to profit on the day. The betting lines discussed are the consensus at Vegas Insider and are subject to change.

Parlay Leg #1: DePaul/Providence over 144.5

The opening leg of our parlay will be the DePaul Blue Demons-Providence Friars over the posted 144.5 game total. This is an opposite betting edge play that we utilize. The first meeting between these schools on December 10, 2024, went under the posted 138.5 game total. In the rematch, we play on the opposite side and wager on the over.

We also spotted a line hold here with the majority of the betting tickets and money on the under and yet the line has held steady at 144.5. The over is 6-4 in the Friars’ last 10 at home and 6-2-2 in the last ten versus DePaul. We will take the over 144.5 for play number one.

Parlay Leg #2: Cincinnati Bearcats -7.5 (Alternate Spread)

The middle leg will be the Cincinnati Bearcats -7.5 over the Kansas State Wildcats. Cincinnati is in a revenge spot here having lost a close game to Kansas State, their first meeting against Kansas State, 70-67. Couple of things here that drew us to this selection.

First, Vegas books are telling us something, making the Bearcats an 8.5 point favorite over a team they lost to outright, as a road favorite. Second, we spotted some sharp money here with just 38% of the spread bets on Cincinnati and yet the line has held steady. Kansas State is 1-9 SU and 4-6 ATS in their last 10 on the road. We will back the Cincinnati Bearcats and buy the full point down to 7.5 for play number two.

Parlay Leg #3: Ole Miss Rebels +3.5 (Alternate Spread)

The anchor play of our parlay will be the Ole Miss Rebels +3.5 over the Tennessee Volunteers. We spotted a reverse line movement here. Our followers know this is a staple of ours. The Rebels are seeing under 50% of the spread and money bets and the opening line dropped a full point down to 2.5.

Ole Miss, despite the recent slide ATS the spread, is still a profitable 16-9 ATS record on the season. Tennessee is just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 as a favorite and 0-3 ATS in the last games at Ole Miss. We will back the home underdog Rebels here over a Tennessee team in a letdown spot after Saturday’s buzzer beater win over Alabama.

Final Thoughts

Remember we will also play these picks on a money line parlay and more importantly straight-up, because parlays are not a long-term profitable betting strategy. We look to avoid public plays, which tend to be the betting favorites. Please follow us on social media as the college basketball season heads toward selection Sunday and March Madness. Let’s get you three winners, and remember: Follow or Fade!
