Williams will have a big task this week going against the 2nd ranked defense against the run.
The Rams’ defense has been a woeful unit this season. They rank 25th in points allowed per game, 18th in passing yards allowed per game, 30th in rushing yards allowed per game, 16th in offensive touchdowns allowed, 26th in sacks, and 15th in takeaways per game. They are going to have their hands full this week. We know the firepower the Vikings possess. However, if they can limit the damage done in the running game, Sam Darnold has been known in his career to turn the ball over more often than not.

I predict the Minnesota Vikings will cover the spread this week against the Los Angeles Rams. The Vikings are primed for a bounceback win this week after last week’s loss. Sam Darnold should have a clean pocket to throw from and the weapons to succeed in this game. Also, Aaron Jones has an ELITE matchup. He is 8th in the NFL in yards per game from scrimmage with 105.5 yards per game. The Rams’ defense has trouble stopping the run, giving up 151.7 rushing yards per game. Lastly, if TJ Hockenson makes his season debut this week, that’s another weapon for Darnold.
