The Milwaukee Bucks (33-17) are traveling to face the Phoenix Suns (29-21). Although these are two opponents from separate conferences, this is always a fun matchup to look forward to. However, these two teams are looking to get into a better rhythm before the All-Star break.
Especially for the Milwaukee Bucks, it will be important to show an enhanced product on the defensive side of the floor. Although, they will be facing a talented team in the Phoenix Suns, who appear to be as close to full health as teams are around this time of year.

The Milwaukee Bucks need to have a better showing against a quality playoff-contending team. Since Doc Rivers became the coach, he has led his new squad to an underwhelming 1-3 record. Although he is faced with a difficult task, for someone with his experience, not a lot of grace will be given. Of course, it is very difficult to take over during the NBA season. Even still, has plenty of talent and a lot of returners from last year playing on this team. However, it appears they missed Jrue Holiday more than they thought they would.
Giannis scored a game-high 36 points in a 116-104 win over the Suns on March 14th, 2023.

Despite any concerns, they should match up well against the Phoenix Suns. Even if one of their star players can get going, the Milwaukee Bucks have plenty of scoring power of their own to keep up. The question will continue to remain on the defensive end of the floor. Giannis Antetokoumpo is listed as probably, so he will most likely be on the floor. Additionally, Damian Lillard and Brook Lopez are questionable, but it looks like they are leaning toward being available today.

The Phoenix Suns hosting the Milwaukee Bucks is not exactly what they need right now. Although they will have both Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal, along with Devin Booker, they have just started to turn things around. Although they are playing better compared to how they started, if they could have picked, they would have likely wished to delay the match-up against the Milwaukee Bucks.
This comeback win against the Kings truly might’ve turned the season around for Phoenix.
The Suns were 21-18 on the verge of dropping to 21-19, down by as many as 22 points.

What’s most surprising is that they average around a score differential of three. Meaning, they have struggled to separate themselves from others. Although they have been fairly good defensively, on offense, things just haven’t clicked yet. On any given night, star players can go off, and they will be hoping that a big performance is in the air tonight for at least one of them
Game Prediction
It is all set up to play into the strengths of the Milwaukee Bucks. While they are having a hard time keeping teams from scoring, the Phoenix Suns are having difficulties getting the ball through the net. This is set up to be something of an aspiring evening for the visitors. Especially after blowing a 19-point lead against Utah, they will be looking to close tonight out with a win. The point total could realistically go either way, so I am staying away from that. But I do like the Bucks to win outright tonight.
Final Pick
