The Miami Heat (44-35) take on the Dallas Mavericks (49-30) in what should be a good game Wednesday night.
Both of these teams are dealing with a handful of injuries. However, through these injuries they have still managed to keep up their records. The Miami Heat have won 6 of their last ten games. On the other hand, the Dallas Mavericks have won nine out of their last ten and have officially clinched their spot as the fifth seed in the playoffs.
Can the Miami Heat get the win at home or will the Dallas Mavericks take one on the road?
Miami Heat vs Dallas Mavericks Injury Report
Miami Heat
Players | Injury | Status |
Tyler Herro | Rest | GTD |
Terry Rozier | Neck | GTD |
Duncan Robinson | Back | Out |
Josh Richardson | Shoulder | OFS |
The Miami Heat are teetering in between the playoffs and play-in. They’ll most likely rest Tyler Herro tonight to ensure his healthiness for the upcoming postseason. Hopefully, they will see the return of Terry Rozier as well, as he has been a solid playmaker for them.
The Heat are one of the strongest teams in the East. Even if they end up staying in the play-in, they should be viewed as a threat. If they can get injured players back on the court, they will be a difficult team to beat.

Dallas Mavericks
Players | Injury | Status |
Josh Green | Ankle | Out |
Greg Brown III | Personal | Out |
Dereck Lively II | Knee | Out |
The Dallas Mavericks have already clinched their spot in the playoffs. The injuries have not caused them many issues. As long as their two stars, Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, stay healthy, they will be able to win games. However, if either of them falls victim to a bad injury, it could heavily affect the Maverick’s playoff plans. https://gty.im/2126143047

Playoff Race Still on For Miami Heat
Taking a look at the East standings, one can see that the Heat are currently in eighth. The only teams above them are the Philadelphia 76ers and Indiana Pacers by a small margin. If Miami can win their last three games and the other two teams falter, they can slip into sixth.
In order for Miami to do this, they would need their shooters, Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson, to play. However, the team’s plan might be to remain where they are. The last time they were in the play-in, they managed to make a sprint to the Finals. Perhaps they will rest their players until the postseason.
