New York Mets Regular Season Win Total | 2025 MLB Season Long Bet

New York Mets, Francisco Lindor

The New York Mets were close but no cigar in the 2024 season. They had an impressive playoff run but ran into the buzzsaw that is the Los Angeles Dodgers. The team from Queens is looking to bounce back and have another great season in 2025. The National League East division is a three-team race that features the Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies. All three of these teams are capable of not only winning the division but could be 90+ game winners and World Series contenders. What should you take into consideration when investing in a season-long bet with the Mets?

Mets Win Total OVER 92.5 (+100)

Offseason Based Off Last Season

The 2024 New York Mets finished third in the NL East with an 89-73 record. Although they fell behind the Braves and Phillies, they were able to make it passed both division rivals in the playoffs losing in the NLCS to the World Series-winning Los Angeles Dodgers. The team started off the season slow losing their first 5 games of the season. New York was able to bounce back quickly, having winning records in every single month of the season except for March (0-3) and May (9-19). Without the slow start and the 10 games under .500 in May, the team that resides in Queens would have easily surpassed the 92.5 mark last season.

Pete Alonso and Francisco Lindor led the charge offensively being two of eight players with double-digit Home Runs. The duo combined for 67 of the 207 total Home Runs the team hit. The team was in the top half of Major League Baseball in both hitting and pitching but fell into the bottom 5 in fielding.

Offseason Moves

The New York Mets had more departures than arrivals as far as their roster goes.  Losing veteran guys like JD Martinez, Luis Severino, Jose Quintana, Harrison Bader, and what seemed to be the team MVP at times last season Jose Iglesias. Does that all really matter when you add Juan “freaking” Soto to the lineup? The “other” team from New York signed the superstar to a 15-year deal in the offseason. They also added veteran pitchers Frankie Montas and A.J. Minter to give their starting rotation and bullpen some depth.

Final Thoughts

The addition of Juan Soto could and should put this New York Mets squad on the next level. Soto, Alonso, Vientos, Nimmo, and Lindor could be the modern version of “Murderer’s Row.” I mean seriously, pick your poison. This lineup will have so much protection around them, that you simply have to pitch to them. Expect these 5 guys to be an absolute terror in 2025.

The National League East division may have the best three-headed snake at the top in all of baseball. The Mets, Braves, and Phillies will be battling each other all season for the right to be kings of the East. With the Nationals and Marlins being so bad, I could see all three teams with over 90 wins. New York may be a good bet to win the division, according to BetMGM they are +200 and could have great value.

The Pick Is In: New York Mets OVER 92.5 (+100)

Also, consider New York to Win the NL East at (+200)
