The Los Angeles Clippers (36-18) travel to the Memphis Grizzlies (220-36) for a Friday evening showdown. But the visiting team comes off a disappointing performance against a strong Oklahoma City Thunder team. Although they are playing back-to-back, they’ll look to get back on track.
Conversely, the home side hasn’t played since before the All-Star Brea. Therefore it’s safe to assume that rust will be a little bit of a factor tonight. Additionally, they face a tough first test back. Especially as Marcus Smart is not expected back until sometime next week. However, a win tonight would even up the series between these two.
Do you see the away team taking care of business tonight after their last letdown?

Los Angeles needs to play well tonight. However, even a close loss is not good enough. Also, this team has too many stars on their team. Additionally, including Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, this may be the better duo in the NBA. Furthermore, the likes of Russell Westbrook and James Harden support the two stars in the role. Therefore, tonight you can expect this Los Angeles Clippers team to make a statement and produce at a high level. While their game against the Oklahoma City Thunder was disappointing, they’ll look to turn that around tonight.

Memphis is in a rebuilding year. Although they have some good pieces to build around. But tonight will be rough. Jaren Jackson Jr. is considered day-to-day, but he’s expected to be healthy enough to play today. Unfortunately, he will need to shoulder the brunt of the responsibility as Desmond Bane expects to be out until the end of March. But they play the Los Angeles Clippers tonight and things may get ugly.
One of my favorite highlights from this season was Jeremy Sochan’s poster on Jaren Jackson Jr.

Game Prediction
This game should be over quickly. Especially after a rough outing against the Thunder, the Los Angeles Clippers should be better and looked improved tonight. Therefore, I have them covering tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies. Additionally, I see both defenses keeping this a lower-scoring game than expected. However, if starters stay in then that will be threatened. But more than likely Memphis is slowed down by the Los Angeles Clippers tonight.
Final Pick
Los Angeles Clippers -9 and Under 221.5
