Buffalo Bills vs Kansas City Chiefs Match Details
- Fixture: Buffalo Bills @ Kansas City Chiefs
- Date: January 26th, 2025
- Time: 6:30 PM EST
Player Prop #1: DeAndre Hopkins OVER 24.5 Receiving Yards
DeAndre Hopkins is in a GREAT situation to cash this prop. Last week was the first game in his NFL career in which he finished with ZERO catches. I do not expect that to happen again. Since joining the Kansas City Chiefs, Hopkins hit this line in 9 of the 11 games he has played in. I expect a great performance from him, as he is on the ladder for half of his career. In the regular season game against this Bills defense, Hopkins recorded 3 catches on 4 targets for 29 yards. This is a big-time game for a big-time player.
Player Prop #2: Patrick Mahomes OVER 249.5 Passing Yards
Patrick Mahomes is always a must-play in the playoffs, especially in big games like these. In his playoff career, Mahomes is averaging 279 passing yards per game. Against the Buffalo Bills, he has hit this line in 5 of the 8 games. Yes, he had a “down year”, but he still finished 7th in passing yards and 11th in passing yards per game. He has his two speedsters on the outside Xavier Worthy and Marquise Brown. Mahomes also has his safety blanket Travis Kelce, who is one of the best playoff performers of all time. Mahomes performs his best on the biggest stages and this is one of them.
Player Prop #3: Xavier Worthy OVER 3.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Xavier Worthy has a great chance to cash this specific prop in this game. Worthy has recorded at least one carry in 13 of the 18 games he has played in, and went over this prop in 10 of them. This play, in my opinion, is boom or bust literally. We saw him last weekend finish the game with one carry for -8 yards. I do not believe that the Buffalo Bills defense has enough speed on the edge to contain an end around like the Texans did. Yes, a receiver getting 4 yards rushing is iffy, however, this is a great spot for Worthy and a Kansas City Chiefs offense that could use a big play.
