Cal Quantrill takes the mound this afternoon for the Rockies. He is 1-3 with a 4.31 ERA on the season. He is coming off his best start of this season tossing 7.2 scoreless innings against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Rockies offense is paced by Catcher Elias Diaz and Third Baseman Ryan McMahon. Diaz is top 20 in the league in batting average while McMahon leads the club in home runs, RBI, OPS, and Slugging.

Keaton Winn toes the slab this afternoon for San Francisco. He is 3-4 with an ERA of 4.41. He will undoubtedly look to bounce back from a nightmare outing his last time out. He failed to make it through a full inning and surrendered five earned runs against the Phillies. The San Francisco Giants offense is led by Left Fielder Michael Conforto and Second Baseman Thiaro Estrada.
Conforto had a great game against the Rockies on Wednesday night when went 3-of-4 with a home run. He’s had an RBI in each game of this series. Estrada leads the team in RBI and drove in a run on Tuesday.

Game Prediction

Even with the best Rockies pitcher going today, the San Francisco Giants will win and sweep the series. The Giants have settled into a nice rhythm at Coors Field and will walk away with a win on Thursday. Colorado has one of the worst offenses and pitching staffs in the leagues and will be unable to keep up with a streaking Giants offense.

Final Pick

San Francisco Giants ML (-155)
