The Cleveland Cavaliers (38-20) and the Detroit Pistons (9-49) are set to play Friday night. Although the home team is coming off a win on the road against the Bulls. The traveling side also played at the United Center but lost in double overtime.
However, those games were a couple of days ago and both sides look to take each other on refreshed. Moreover, the traveling side has a 3-0 regular series lead as they will look to sweep the series. Additionally, the prior matchups were within single digits.
But do you see the away team as a heavy favorite winning tonight and covering?

Meanwhile, Detroit is looking to get to double-digit wins. Although it doesn’t make a difference in the grand scheme of things getting a win against an Eastern Conference Contender would be a big deal. But in order to do so Cade Cunningham will likely need to make a great effort as he has been lately. He remains the Detroit Pistons best player but against the Cleveland Cavaliers, you may be stopped as he will become the main focus of that team. Also, Isaiah Stewart is back and from suspension and should be a force on the boards. Lastly, Jaden Ivey is someone who needs to get going for the Detroit team if they are to pull off something of a surprise victory tonight.
Game Prediction
I see this game playing out as expected. Although a victory from Detroit could happen more likely than not the Cleveland Cavaliers take care of business tonight. Especially as Mitchell will want to lead his team and get them ready for the playoffs it’s hard seeing them drop a winnable game tonight. Furthermore, the visitors are coming off a bad loss and will not want to make it in a row. Therefore I am picking against the spread and taking the away team. Moreover, I do not like the points total in this game while the Cleveland side May score in bunches today it’s hard seeing the home team being able to score enough in order to keep pace. While the Cleveland Cavaliers will score conversely they should be able to hold the Detroit offense enough to take the under.
Final Pick
Cleveland Cavaliers -9 and Under 221.5
