However, the team is struggling on the road with a 16-19 record away from Busch Stadium thus far. Their offense has been turning a corner and really helping the team take that next step and second baseman Nolan Gorman has been leading the way with a .950 OPS and 10 homers in his previous 23 games.

The St. Louis Cardinals have been playing a more consistent brand of baseball lately and should take advantage of the Chicago Cubs. Kyle Gibson is pitching to a 3.19 ERA and a .188 batting average against in his six road starts this season and should limit the offense for the Cubs. Even when the starters are long out of this game, the bullpens are a significant difference as well.
