The Brooklyn Nets (29–46) travel to the Indiana Pacers (42–33). These are short injury reports, so for the most part, these two teams are able to play each other at full strength. However, two key players for the Nets will be unable to go today.
Therefore, is the Pacer’s side better positioned to cover the spread?
Brooklyn Nets vs Indiana Pacers Injury Report
Brooklyn Nets
Players | Injury | Status |
Cameron Johnson | Toe | Out |
Dennis Smith Jr. | Hip | Out |
Keita Bates-Diop | Lower Leg | OFS |
Ben Simmons | Back | OFS |
Dariq Whitehead | Lower Leg | OFS |
This Brooklyn Nets team will compete against a more healthy Indiana Pacers team. But considering who’s been available for the most part, they should be in decent shape and need to at least feel the competitive product. Mikal Bridges and Nic Claxton are both available.
Updates:
Indiana Pacers
Player | Injury | Status |
None |
The Indiana Pacers do not have anyone listed on the injury report. Even though they are healthy and competing for a playoff position, not having to worry about a current injury is something to take advantage of for the Pacers. Furthermore, they’re facing a Brooklyn Nets team that is in rough shape. Therefore, you can expect Tyrese Halliburton to help his team to victory today.
Updates:
Cam Johnson Important Brooklyn Nets Player
The Brooklyn Nets are in rough shape, regardless of how you look at it. But being without Cam Johnson is something that can’t be overlooked. He leads the team in rebounding. But he also helps take some of the pressure off of bridges. Furthermore, he had been playing well as of late, all things considered.
He had double-digit scoring in four of his last five games. Again, the Nets aren’t competing for much at this point this season. However, without Johnson against the Indiana Pacers, waiting for the Brooklyn Nets has become a lot more difficult.
