The Boston Celtics (57-16) are facing the New Orleans Pelicans (45-28) on Saturday. There is much to play for on the Pelicans’ side of things, as they are currently in the West. However, only a game separates them between the teams on both sides. Meanwhile, the Celtics are locked in as the top seed in the Eastern Conference and will enjoy homecourt advantage.
But where are some of the injury concerns to monitor heading into this matchup?

JD Davison | Ankle | Out |
Jaden Springer | Knee | Out |
The Boston Celtics are mostly healthy entering this matchup. Although they have been dealing with some injuries lately, everything seems on track for a healthy close to the season. Minutes and usage will be something to monitor going forward. But this is a healthy ballclub that can afford to be cautious moving forward. Expect to see more Celtics names listed here moving forward as they will not want to take unnecessary risks before the post-season.

Dyson Daniels | Knee | GTD |
Brandon Ingram | Knee | Out |
The New Orleans Pelicans will look to grab a win tonight against the Boston Celtics. They are missing two key players, but Zion Williamson and CJ McCollum prove to be a formidable presence in their own right night in and night out. Reports are optimistic that Brandom Ingram will return soon. However, until that happens, this nucleus appears to be able to at least stay competitive in every matchup. Tonight will be a test of their depth against the Boston Celtics.
Updates:
Daniels Listed As GTD Against the Boston Celtics
The G-League contributor underwent a minor procedure on his meniscus. It’s not expected to be a major concern going forward, but it will have him miss tonight’s game for the New Orleans Pelicans. However, he is expected back in the lineup if not this game then the next.
Finally, his return would be a nice option to go to off the bench. Seeing playing time and putting up good minutes will increase his chances of having a longer stint as a member of an NBA side. But for now, the Pelicans’ main concern is how the available players look and that they stay healthy against the Boston Celtics.
