Best Prop Bets for Detroit Lions vs. Seattle Seahawks Week 4

detroit lions

A fantastic primetime matchup between the Lions and Seahawks is set for primetime in Week 4. The Lions prevailed over Kyler Murray and the Arizona offense, limiting them to 13 points. Detroit is now looking to improve to 3-1 and beat the Seahawks for the first time since 2012.

The Seahawks are coming off a great win over the Dolphins, improving to 3-0 on the season. The offense struggled at times, but the defense held Miami to just 3 points. With a great matchup ahead of us, here are a few of the top prop bets with the best odds to hit in this week 3 matchup.

Jameson Williams: Under 43.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

Jameson Williams just had a poor game, so even though I don’t think he will play that poorly again, I do anticipate a quiet game from him. The Seahawks have one of the top cornerback duos in the NFL, led by Tariq Woolen and Devon Witherspoon, so attempting deep passes may be very dangerous.

Given Seattle’s defensive style and Goff’s struggles this season, expect more short passes to be attempted than deep ones. William’s current line is 43.5 yards, and I believe that he end up just shy of that when the game is over.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba: Over 47.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

The Lion’s secondary has been having some issues lately, and JSN stands to gain the most. Despite getting just three targets the previous week, he was Geno Smith’s go-to guy in week two, so expect more of that this week.

The Lions have had trouble with slot receivers this season, and I believe that problem will continue this week. His line is currently placed at 47.5, which is extremely doable. Smith-Njigba could have a big night against a weak Detroit secondary if Geno Smith finds a rhythm with him early on.

Jahmyr Gibbs: Over 52.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

This year, Jahmyr Gibbs has been outstanding, and he will continue to do so in primetime. Gibbs scored a touchdown and accumulated 189 yards the last time the Lions played on Monday Night Football, and I’m expecting him to have another strong performance.

While the Seahawks’ defense has been dominant, they haven’t played a prolific offense like the Lions. This will be a tough test for both squads and while we have seen matchups shoot out like previous years, this may be a close one down to the wire that’s lower scoring.

Final Thoughts about Lions vs. Seahawks

The Seahawks will have their job cut out for them with Montgomery and Gibbs, as they gave up almost 100 yards rushing to both Antonio Gibson and Rhamondre Stevenson of the Patriots. In addition, they might be missing Leonard Williams and Boye Mafe, as well as youngster Byron Murphy. The line is currently set at 52.5, which he has hit the past 2 weeks, and should be relatively easy to do for a third time for the Lions rushing pair.
