Atlanta Hawks vs Charlotte Hornets Injury Report | April 10, 2024

Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks (36-43) take on the Charlotte Hornets (19-60) in what should be a good game Wednesday night.

Both of these teams have struggled with injuries this season. However, the Atlanta Hawks have managed to stay steady through their injuries. The Hornets on the other hand have once again ended up in the bottom of the standings

Can the Charlotte Hornets turn things around or will the Atlanta Hawks take home an easy win?

The Atlanta Hawks have officially clinched a spot in the play-in. They managed to do this without All-Star Trae Young. The Hawks have had injury problems throughout the season. The biggest missing piece outside of Young is probably Jalen Johnson, who has managed to put up good statistics for the team.

The Charlotte Hornets lost their star player, LaMelo Ball, months ago. Since then, they have been losing games left and right. Also, after picking him up this season, they lost veteran guard Seth Curry. He would have been a helpful presence to have on the court for the young team.

There is no questioning that the Hornets are a terrible team. They seem to have zero chemistry through their bench. They have some bright spots, like the young Brandon Miller. However, outside of him and the other starters, this team is a giant mess. It isn’t helping that their roster is constantly cycling through the injury report.

Atlanta Hawks Plan for Play-in

As stated before, the Hawks have snagged a spot in the play-in as the tenth seed. This means they don’t really have to worry about their final record anymore. If Atlanta wants to put up a good fight in the play-in, they will need a healthy roster. They are better off giving their game-time decisions a rest rather than rushing them back onto the court for the final games.
