They were without their Cy Young pitcher Chris Sale in the postseason. The Braves were also without former MVP Ronald Acuna Jr. and their ace Spencer Strider. If the Braves can get their two stars back to 100%, they will cause some noise this regular season and have a chance to be the last team standing.

However great the addition is, they lost a great bit of talent. Max Fried, AJ Minter, Charlie Morton, and Adam Duvall. Despite the ages of Morton and Duvall, it’s very difficult to replace the pitching that Fried and Minter possess. If the Braves young pitchers of Spencer Schwellenbach and Reynaldo Lopez step up with Fried leaving, they might be the key to a big season and eventual postseason run. We are only three years away from this team winning the World Series. in 2022.
