Super Bowl LVIII is upon us! And after figuring out and brushing up on your Roman Numerals, you know it’s the time of year to dig into player props!
Regardless if your team is on the hunt anymore or not, we know these teams. By now, anyone who has paid attention to the playoffs could do, even a basic, scouting report. With that being said, here are 3 key prop bets that you need to consider if you are going to have a successful Super Bowl Sunday at the books!
Super Bowl Player Prop Bet #1
Patrick Mahomes & Brock Purdy to Combine for 50+ Rushing Yards: +145
This is something of an easy one. In a single game, especially one as large as the Super Bowl, breakdowns in the offensive lines are going to happen. Especially with some of the better pass rushers playing for both teams! Luckily, this prop bet can hit on one long run from either quarterback.
Did you know?
Patrick Mahomes needs 51 more rushing yards for his highest rushing total in a season ever (381),But he has yet to rush for a single touchdown the entire season.

Although neither QB is a run-first threat, either player knows when to take off, especially as the pocket collapses. Patrick Mahomes is more elusive, but Brock Purdy is a more than capable athlete. Especially on a deep route or a play where defenders have to turn their back to the quarterback, look for these guys to pick up first downs and yards with their feet . Combined, getting at least 50 on the ground is too low to pass up!
Super Bowl Player Prop Bet #2
Chris Jones & Nick Bosa to both record 0.5+ Sacks each: +200
Speaking of great pass rushers! Two of the best in the NFL play for opposite teams! Even though both Quarterbacks are mobile and try to navigate the pocket, these two defenders need to be accounted for.
In this case, the mobility plays in favor of this bet hitting. How often have you seen Mahomes make a spectacular play to avoid a sack, only to run into a sack? Rest assured, the defensive coordinators have! The teams have a full extra week to prepare, don’t be surprised if schemes and stunts are pulled out for the Super Bowl that we haven’t seen before. Regardless getting to the quarterback at least once seems more than on the table.
Super Bowl Player Prop Bet #3
Christian McCaffrey to Score 1+ Rushing TD & 1+ Receiving TD: +900
Regardless of how the Super Bowl plays out, McCaffrey scoring is going to happen! Even if the game gets out of hand for the 49ers, Coach Shanahan showed that he is not afraid to stick with the run. Especially near the red zone, he remains a player who will receive the ball multiple times in different ways.

Whether it’s on a screen or up the middle, he’ll be seeing plenty of action. Even with teams who can slow him down at first, he gets stronger throughout the game. Last week the 49ers staff saw Lamar Jackson play a drop backgame. Looking back, this will seem to the coaching staff like a missed opportunity. Mainly because the Chief’s defense has not been as strong against the run. And if the run game gets going, look out for a quick pass against an unsuspecting secondary during the Super Bowl!
