Super Bowl LVIII: 3 Solid Prop Bets For The Big Game

Super Bowl LVIII

Super Bowl LVIII is almost here! Every year, for the big game, there are a myriad of prop bets. FanDuel sportsbook had a tab labeled “Super Bowl LVIII Specials,” with some premade bets. Here are three solid prop bets that you can grab right now.

Super Bowl LVIII Bet #1: McCaffrey Double Dips

Christian McCaffery to score 1+ rushing touchdown and 1+ receiving touchdown +750

At +750, there is some good value on this bet. McCaffrey is the focal point of the San Francisco 49ers offense. He will get plenty of work from Kyle Shanahan’s playcalling. It is a safe bet that he will get one touchdown in Super Bowl LVIII. The question is whether he can get one of each.

The Kansas City defense is the only reason I would be cautious of this bet. The Chiefs have been shutting down opposing offenses. While they haven’t seen an offense with this many weapons, defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo has proven he can put together a game plan to shut down the opposing teams. Still, bets are all about opportunity, and McCaffrey should get plenty of opportunities.

Super Bowl LVIII Bet #2: Tight End Party

Travis Kelce & George Kittle to Combine for 200+ Receiving Yards + 750

Earlier in the season, this would have been a bad bet. Kelce didn’t have a great regular season but has taken off in the playoffs. He is averaging 87 receiving yards per game in the playoffs, with 116 in the AFC Championship Game. Kittle has been up and down, which isn’t surprising. With so many weapons on the 49ers, he sometimes gets left out.

However, you don’t need both of them to go off for the bet to hit. If one has a huge game, the other can be mediocre, and the bet still hits. I like the chances of one of these players, especially Kelce, having a big game. I expect Travis Kelce to be motivated to impress with Taylor Swift in attendance.

Super Bowl LVIII Bet #3: Rush Attack

Christian McCaffrey, Patrick Mahomes & Isiah Pacheco to Combine for 300+ Rushing Yards +2200

This Super Bowl LVIII bet is a bit of a long shot. McCaffrey isn’t the worry here unless the 49ers go down big early and get away from the running game. The gamble is on Mahomes and Pacheco. I don’t see a world where Mahomes rushes for over 100 yards, but he is usually good for a few third-down runs. If he can pick up 50 yards on the ground, this bet is in play.

Pacheco is the wild card, but we have some Super Bowl history to go off of. In last year’s Super Bowl, Pacheco rushed for 76 yards on 15 carries as a rookie. He has become more of a focal point of the offense this year, and if the Chiefs are protecting a lead, he may get a lot of carries.

Those are the three Super Bowl LVIII bets I like the most. This is a fun time of year for bettors, so make sure to head over to your favorite sportsbook and place some fun bets for the big game.
