We expect a much closer game than expected and we see evidence of that with the line drop. The 7.5-point spread is the underdog number that we talked about in our wagering series.
Prediction
San Francisco has beaten the Cardinals four straight times and by the time kickoff rolls around Vegas will likely need Arizona to cover. However, if betting were as easy as playing the favorites the Vegas books would be bankrupt. We feel this is a nice spot to fade the public in the late afternoon slate. The Cardinal’s average score margin is 24-26.5 and as previously stated, they are 3-2 ATS in the last five and 6-4 ATS last ten as an underdog. We will take the Arizona Cardinals and the points in this week’s NFC West divisional battle.
