College Football National Champion Odds for 2024-25 Season

With the season approaching, there is a lot of talk about who will be the college football national champion this year. The Michigan Wolverines are the defending National Champions, and their path to repeat will be very difficult, not to mention their off-the-field issues. The first preseason college football poll came out with Georgia at the top.

There are lots of changes happening across the sport’s landscape. The SEC, B10, Big 12, and ACC added new teams. The Pac-12 as we know it is no longer in existence. Oregon State and Washington State are the only two teams left in that conference. Plus, the College Football Playoff is expanding to 12 teams. There is much to get excited about in the 2024-25 College Football Season.

We at Total Apex Bets thought, what better time than now to look at odds on who will win the College Football National Championship this season? The current champions, the Michigan Wolverines, are +2500 to repeat. Meanwhile, the Georgia Bulldogs, coached by Kirby Smart, are the favorites to win the National Championship at +300. With the countdown to Week 0 of the College Football season approaching, let’s examine the odds of who will be the National Champion in the 2024-25 season.

Looking at the Odds

As we look at the odds, some things stand out. Michigan is not even on this board. Again, they are +2500 to repeat. Now, they have a chance to make the 12-team playoff, but it will not be easy with the changes on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. Not to mention, their former head coach is in the NFL.

The B10 added Washington, UCLA, USC, and Oregon this year. Most figure that Ohio St. and Oregon will meet in the B10 title game at the end of the season. There is debate over who will win the B10, Oregon, or Ohio St. However, the Buckeyes are +400 while the Ducks are +800 to win the National Championship. Both have an excellent shot to win the title, but only one will get one of the top four spots when they win the B10.

Over in the SEC, the Georgia Bulldogs are +300 to win the title. Still, they will have to potentially battle the Texas Longhorns, Alabama, and LSU to win the SEC and National Championship. Many think Texas could win the SEC Championship, and the Longhorns have good odds of winning the national title. There is value there at +800.

Alabama has to protect the quarterback and play better defense. Kalen DeBoer will have a high standard to live up to. At +1400, the Crimson Tide has value, but many feel they have a long shot of winning the National Championship.

Utah is the first Big 12 team on the board at +6000. Meanwhile, the Florida State Seminoles are the first ACC team on the board at +1800. Again, 12 teams make the College Football Playoff this season. It is not a given one of the big boys walks away with the National Championship. This season, it feels very wide open.
