Sacramento Kings vs. New Orleans Pelicans Player Props | April 11, 2024

Kings vs. Pelicans

In a Western Conference matchup, the Sacramento Kings (45-34) take on the New Orleans Pelicans (47-32).

Both of these teams are desperate for a win. The Pelicans are barely clinging on to the sixth seed, trying to stay out of the play-in tournament. On the other hand, the Kings are only half a game ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers at the eighth seed. If they aren’t careful, the Lakers could jump them, and they could end up as the ninth seed.

With both teams invested in this game, there are many player props to consider.

De’Aaron Fox is a rising young star in this league for the Sacramento Kings, but I expect him to struggle tonight. There is a good chance he goes under his points+rebounds prop tonight. Let’s look at the stats.

  • De’Aaron Fox has gone under this line in 11 of 35 home games
  • Fox averages 24.9 points at home and 28.2 points on the road this season
  • Fox has played four games vs the Pelicans this season
    • 3 points, two rebounds
    • 30 points, five rebounds
    • 26 points, two rebounds
    • 14 points, two rebounds
  • New Orleans allowed the least points to point guards in the last 30 games
  • The Pelicans allow the second least rebounds to point guards in the last 30 games

The best odds for this line are -125 on DraftKings and ESPN Bet. De’Aaron Fox has struggled mightily against this team and their fantastic guard defenders. Unfortunately, we are going to need him to struggle again.

CJ McCollum (NOP) Over 28.5 Points+Assists (-120)

CJ McCollum of the New Orleans Pelicans looks on during the game ...

On the other side of the court, I like CJ McCollum for the New Orleans Pelicans. Brandon Ingram is out for this game, and CJ shines in this scenario. He will have much more volume without Ingram on the court.

  • CJ McCollum has hit this line in 11 of 15 games without Brandon Ingram this season
  • McCollum is over this line in all five road games without Ingram
  • CJ has played two games vs the Kings this season
    • 30 points, four assists
    • 17 points, seven assists
  • All the Kings’ defensive focus will be on Zion Williamson, and for good reason.
  • He has hit this line with only points in 4 straight games

The best odds for this line are -120 on ESPN Bet. He has been on fire lately without Brandon Ingram, and I don’t expect him to slow down. The Pelicans need him to step up on the road in such a big game.
