The Phillies are projected to send Spencer Turnbull to the mound for today’s game. Turnbull went 1-4 last year with a 7.26 ERA and 24 strikeouts in 7 games. Alec Bohm leads the team with a .333 batting average, four RBIs, and an OBP of .429. J.T. Realmuto has a team-high one home run, while Kyle Schwarber has collected five hits.

Graham Ashcraft is the probable starting pitcher for the Reds today. Ashcraft finished last season with a 7-9 record, a 4.76 ERA, and 111 strikeouts in 26 games. Spencer Steer leads the team with a .400 batting average and six hits. Jonathan India carries an OBP of .615, while Nick Martini has smashed two home runs and drove in seven RBIs.

Game Prediction

This could be a high-scoring game, but I will give the Reds the pitching advantage in this one. I trust Ashcraft more than Turnbull, and this Reds lineup has been firing on all cylinders to start the year. But what worries me is the fight in this Philly team. There are a lot of veterans and even more firepower in the lineup. While I see both of these teams making the postseason this year, I am rolling with the hotter team today. Give me the Reds on the ML.
