The Cleveland Cavaliers (59-29) take on the Denver Nuggets (51-23). Neither roster is entirely healthy at this point. But both sides have potential seeding and playoff positioning to play for. Especially when comparing to years past, whoever is mostly healthy for this game looks like they will be a full go.
But do some of the injury concerns of some of the stars worry you before taking action on this game?
Cleveland Cavaliers vs Denver Nuggets Injuries
Cleveland Cavaliers
Player | Injury | Status |
Ty Jerome | Ankle | Out |
Isaac Okoro | Toe | GTD |
Dean Wade | Knee | Out |
Caris LeVert | Wrist | GTD |
Craig Porter Jr. | Illness | GTD |
The Cleveland Cavaliers are mostly excited to just have Donovan Mitchell back. After undergoing a minor procedure, he’s looking to get back in a rhythm. Especially if some of the other players on the Denver Nuggets can’t go, look for Mitchell to get back in a rhythm with this Cavs team.
Updates:
Caris LeVert – (Wrist) Available To Play
Isaac Okoro – (Toe) Out
Denver Nuggets
Player | Injury | Status |
Jamal Murray | Knee | GTD |
Zeke Nnaji | Thigh | Out |
Nikola Jokic | Wrist | GTD |
Vlatko Cancar | Knee | Out |
The inclusion of Jokic and Murray is always something to monitor and consider before taking action on this game. However, it looks more likely at this point that Jokic is going to be able to play. The Denver Nuggets remain hopeful that Murray will be able to return soon. But it’s unlikely that he will do so against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Updates:
Jokic – (Hip, Wrist) Available To Play
Murray – (Knee) Out
Denver Nuggets Duo Need Time Together On The Court
There are rumblings surrounding this Denver Nuggets team that Murray is missed much more than originally anticipated. But this can mostly be explained as a team that knows who they are and is simply looking ahead beyond the regular season. Regardless, it will be good for the ball club to get Murray back sooner rather than later.
But based on what we have been seeing and hearing, it would be completely shocking to see Murray step foot on the court against the Cleveland Cavaliers in March. Therefore, he’s someone to keep an eye on but not expect back until a couple of games into April for the Denver Nuggets.
