The Milwaukee Bucks (40-21) host the Los Angeles Clippers (39-20) tonight. This game should be a good one. Although the Milwaukee Bucks are undergoing a lot of change as of late, they are currently on a five-game winning streak. Meanwhile, the Clippers are riding a two-game winning streak of their own. Additionally, they will face each other one more time in six days in Los Angeles. Therefore, there aren’t any more recent games to go off of.
However, these are both two teams that have championship aspirations. Furthermore, both are in good form and are playing well at the moment. But some availability questions remain for both sides. With both teams in the top four of their conference standings, there is a lot to play for at the Fiserv Forum today.
But do you see the Clippers getting an away win today, or will the Bucks ward off the visitors?

Key Stats
Milwaukee Bucks
Milwaukee is still trying to find its stride under new coach Doc Rivers. However, this will be one of their bigger tests as they take on a good Los Angeles Clippers team. However, Giannis Antetokounmpo is a game-time decision, and Khris Middleton is not expected back until this week. Therefore, Damian Lillard will likely need to step up his production. However, this shouldn’t be an issue, as he averages 24.2 points per game.
Also, Brook Lopez needs to be a force in the frontcourt for the Milwaukee Bucks. Although he isn’t one to shy away from competition, he’ll need to up his 12.8 points per game as well as his 5.4 rebounds per game. Regardless of how the Bucks have looked at the beginning of the season, a win over the Clippers tonight would be a great step in the right direction.
Los Angeles Clippers
Los Angeles is a team that can go far in the playoffs, but they have limitations due to their injury concerns. Therefore, playing well tonight against the Milwaukee Bucks will be critical, as they will be without Russell Westbrook. However, they have plenty of star power to more than makeup for the lack of guard play from him. Moreover, this is a team that has one of the best two-headed monsters in the league.
Because they have Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, this team should be able to compete on most nights. Additionally, they have James Harden, who is a guard, in the starting role. But the loss of Westbrook means a drop in bench productivity and chemistry. Therefore, watching Norman Powell step up again will be huge for this Los Angeles Clippers team. He scored 24 points off the bench against the Minnesota Timberwolves in their last game.
Game Prediction
I see this game playing out contrary to what the spread has it at. While the Bucks hope to be contending for a championship later on, I view them as overrated at this point in the season. Therefore, I am picking the Los Angeles Clippers to not only cover the spread but to win this game outright. Although if you want to be safe, plus four and a half is a guaranteed play here.
Because the Clippers are better on defense and have three proven scores on their roster, they should be able to not only limit the Bucks offense but also keep up with the scoring pace as well. Furthermore, the Bucks possibly being without Antotekounmpo should be concerning. Regardless of whether he plays or not, I still like the Los Angeles Clippers to beat the Bucks on the road tonight.
